KidSpeak: Champions for Change in Foster Care

In early August, we joined Wayne State University’s Transition to Independence Program (TIP) for a KidSpeak from young people who have been involved with the foster care system. Young people praised the Young Adult Voluntary Foster Care program, but asked for smoother transitions between programs, training for foster parents and decreased workloads for caseworkers, and housing support.
